Who this is

Jehoiachin was a king of Judah who reigned only three months before surrendering to Nebuchadnezzar's siege and being taken captive to Babylon along with much of Jerusalem's elite. He remained a prisoner for thirty-seven years until a new Babylonian king released him and gave him a regular place at the royal table for the rest of his life, a small note of hope that closes out 2 Kings.
