A son of Azmaveth and one of the skilled Benjamite archers, able to sling stones and shoot arrows with either hand, who joined David at Ziklag while he was still hiding from Saul (1 Chronicles 12:1-3). These early recruits from Saul's own tribe were a notable sign of David's growing support.
