Who this is

Abdon son of Hillel was one of the minor judges of Israel, remembered chiefly for his large family of sons and grandsons who rode on donkeys, a mark of considerable local standing; he judged Israel for eight years. Abdon was also a Levitical town belonging to Asher, and the name recurs among Benjamite genealogies and among the officials King Josiah sent to consult the prophetess Huldah.
