Who this is

Abia is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Abijah. Matthew's genealogy of Jesus uses it for Abijah, king of Judah and son of Rehoboam (Matthew 1:7). Luke uses it differently, naming the eighth of the twenty-four priestly divisions David established, the division to which Zechariah, father of John the Baptist, belonged (Luke 1:5; 1 Chronicles 24:10).
