Abiathar
He was the only priest to get out of Nob alive when Saul had the place killed, and he went straight to David and stayed his priest through the running years and the reign. At the end he backed Adonijah instead of Solomon, and Solomon sent him away from the priesthood rather than kill him.

Abiathar was the only survivor of the priestly massacre at Nob that Saul ordered through Doeg, and he fled to join David, serving as his priest throughout his years as a fugitive and his reign as king. Abiathar backed the wrong side in the succession struggle at David's death, supporting Adonijah over Solomon, and Solomon exiled him from the priesthood rather than execute him, ending his family's long hold on the office.
