Who this is

Accho was not a person but a Phoenician port city on the coast north of Mount Carmel, assigned to the tribe of Asher but never conquered by them (Judges 1:31). It appears in Egyptian sources and the Amarna letters centuries before Israel's conquest, and was later rebuilt and renamed Ptolemais under the Greeks, the city where Paul landed near the end of his final journey to Jerusalem (Acts 21:7).
