Who this is

Achshaph was a Canaanite royal city whose king joined the northern coalition that Joshua defeated near the Waters of Merom (Joshua 11:1; 12:20). It fell within the territory allotted to Asher (Joshua 19:25). The city appears independently in Pharaoh Thutmose III's fifteenth-century BC topographical list of conquered Canaanite towns at Karnak, confirming it as a real Late Bronze Age settlement centuries before Joshua's campaign.
