Who this is

Adoniram, also called Adoram, was the son of Abda and served as the official in charge of forced labor levies under David, Solomon, and briefly Rehoboam (2 Samuel 20:24; 1 Kings 4:6; 1 Kings 12:18). When Rehoboam sent him to enforce the labor tax on the northern tribes after Solomon's death, the people stoned him to death, an act that helped trigger the kingdom's split into Israel and Judah (1 Kings 12:18).
