Who this is

Amon became king of Judah after his notorious father Manasseh, and unlike his father, who eventually repented, Amon followed his father's earlier idolatry without ever turning back to God. His own officials assassinated him after only two years on the throne, and the common people executed the conspirators and installed his young son Josiah as king instead.
