Who this is

Baalath-beer, meaning Baalah of the well, was a town assigned to the tribe of Simeon on the southern frontier of Judah's territory (Josh. 19:8). It is likely the same town called simply Baal in the parallel list of Simeonite towns in 1 Chronicles 4:33.
