Who this is

Barsabas, meaning son of Sabas, was a surname carried by two different men in Acts. Joseph Barsabas, also called Justus, was one of the two candidates put forward to replace Judas among the twelve apostles (Acts 1:23). Judas Barsabas was a prophet in the Jerusalem church sent along with Paul and Silas to deliver the council's letter to the believers in Antioch (Acts 15:22, 32). The two are unrelated beyond sharing the same family name.
