Who this is

Well in the Negev, its name meaning "the well of the one who lives and sees me," where the angel of the Lord found the pregnant, fleeing Hagar and spoke to her (Gen. 16:7-14). Isaac later settled in the area and was there when Rebekah's caravan first arrived to meet him (Gen. 24:62), and he returned to it again after Abraham's death (Gen. 25:11). It is traditionally placed near Kadesh-barnea, though the precise site is unconfirmed.
