Who this is

Beth-aram was a town of Gad east of the Jordan, opposite Jericho, probably the same as Beth-haran in Numbers 32:36 (Joshua 13:27). Herod Antipas later rebuilt and renamed it Livias, in honor of the Roman empress Livia, wife of Augustus, a renaming recorded by the first-century historian Josephus.
