Who this is

Beth-shittah, meaning house of the acacia, was one of the towns toward which the routed Midianite army fled after Gideon's night attack scattered their camp (Judg. 7:22). It lay somewhere in the Jordan valley near Beth-shean, on the flight route that continued toward Abel-meholah, though its exact site is not fixed.
