Who this is

A Bethlehemite is simply someone from Bethlehem, the title Scripture gives Jesse and his son David before either man needed a longer introduction. The same word later marks Elhanan, the soldier credited in 2 Samuel 21 with killing a giant named Goliath, distinct from the more famous duel in 1 Samuel 17.
