Who this is

Bethsaida was a fishing town on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, home to Peter, Andrew, and Philip (John 1:44), and the target of Jesus's sharpest rebuke among the unrepentant Galilean towns (Matthew 11:21; Luke 10:13). Archaeologists have long debated its exact location between two mounds, et-Tell and el-Araj; recent excavations at el-Araj, closer to the ancient shoreline, have uncovered a Roman bathhouse, an early church, and first-century remains that many scholars now think settle the question in its favor.
