Bozcath was a town in the Shephelah of Judah, listed among the cities near Lachish and Eglon (Josh. 15:39). It is remembered chiefly as the hometown of Adaiah, whose daughter Jedidah was the mother of King Josiah, noted in the record of Josiah's accession (2 Kings 22:1).
