Who this is

Bozrah was the capital of Edom, the city of the early Edomite king Jobab, and became a favorite target of prophetic oracles against Edom for its treatment of Israel and Judah. Isaiah pictures the Lord coming from Bozrah with garments stained red from judgment on Edom. Excavations at Buseirah in Jordan, which preserves the ancient name, have uncovered a fortified Iron Age citadel with monumental buildings, confirming its role as Edom's political center. A different town also called Bozrah lay in the plains of Moab.
