Who this is

Cherub, along with Tel-harsa and Addan, was one of the Babylonian settlements named among the returning exiles who could not prove their Israelite ancestry after the exile (Ezra 2:59; Neh. 7:61). Its exact location is unknown; it was apparently a community of Judean deportees living in southern Mesopotamia during the Babylonian captivity.
