Clement (Man living at the time of the New Testament)
At Philippi, Paul calls him a fellow labourer whose name is in the book of life. Later tradition sometimes made him Clement of Rome, but the New Testament gives no grounds for that beyond the name.

Clement was a Christian at Philippi whom Paul calls his 'fellow labourer,' naming him among those whose names are 'in the book of life' (Philippians 4:3). Later Christian tradition sometimes identified him with Clement of Rome, author of an early and influential epistle to the Corinthians, but the New Testament gives no basis for that identification beyond the shared name.
