Dimnah was a town of the tribe of Zebulun assigned to the Levite clan of Merari for their residence (Joshua 21:35). The parallel list in 1 Chronicles 6:77 gives the same town's name as Rimmon instead, suggesting either a scribal variant or a genuine name change. Its exact site is unidentified.
