Who this is

Dor was an ancient port city on the Mediterranean coast south of Mount Carmel, a royal Canaanite city whose king Joshua defeated (Joshua 11:1-2; 12:23) though its original inhabitants were never fully expelled (Judges 1:27); it was later assigned to one of Solomon's administrative districts (1 Kings 4:11). Decades of excavation at Tel Dor have made it one of the best sites anywhere for tracing the transition from Bronze Age Canaanite culture to Iron Age Phoenician civilization on the coast.
