Who this is

En-dor was a town in Issachar's territory, near the site of Deborah and Barak's victory over Sisera's army, which Psalm 83 recalls when praying for Israel's enemies to meet the same fate. It is best known as the home of the medium Saul consulted in disguise the night before his final, fatal battle with the Philistines (1 Samuel 28:7). The name survives in the modern village of Endur, southeast of Mount Tabor.
