Ezekiel (Prophet living at the time of Exile and Return)
A priest taken to Babylon with the first exiles. Five years in, he saw God's throne, wheels within wheels and four living creatures, and started prophesying. He acted out a lot of it, lying on his side for over a year. His valley of dry bones coming back to life is the picture of Israel restored.

The priest-prophet exiled to Babylon whose visions open with the famous wheels-within-wheels (Ezekiel 1:3). Josephus mentions him more briefly than Jeremiah here, the honest gap in this particular chapter, but places him exactly where Scripture does: warning King Zedekiah, unheeded, right before the final fall of Jerusalem.
Ezekiel was a priest deported to Babylon in the first wave of exiles who began prophesying five years into his captivity after a vision of God's throne, described in famously strange imagery of wheels within wheels and four living creatures. He acted out many of his prophecies physically, lying on his side for over a year to symbolize the years of Israel's sin, and his most famous vision is a valley of dry bones brought back to life, a picture of national restoration after exile.
