Who this is

Gatam was a son of Eliphaz and grandson of Esau who became one of the clan chiefs, or “dukes,” of Edom (Genesis 36:11, 16; 1 Chronicles 1:36). Like his brothers, he is remembered only as the eponymous head of an Edomite clan in the genealogical lists.
