Gederothaim

Listed right after Gederah in Joshua 15:36. The ending can mean two, so some read it as the two Gederahs rather than a town of its own, and if it was separate nobody has found where.

Who this is

Gederothaim was a town in the lowland district of Judah, listed immediately after Gederah in Joshua's territorial allotment (Joshua 15:36). The "-ayim" ending is the same dual suffix found in names like Kiriathaim, "double city," which has led some scholars to read it as "the two Gederahs" rather than an independent town, though others take it as its own settlement. Its site, if independent, is unidentified.
