Gispa was, along with Ziha, one of the overseers of the Nethinim, the temple servants who lived on the hill of Ophel in Jerusalem after the return from exile, as recorded in Nehemiah 11:21. The Nethinim performed menial temple duties and are traditionally traced back to Gibeonites and war captives assigned to that service in earlier generations. Nothing more is known of Gispa beyond this administrative role.
