Who this is

Hammath was one of the fortified towns allotted to the tribe of Naphtali, on the shore of the Sea of Galilee (Josh. 19:35). Its name means hot springs, and it is identified with the thermal baths still found just south of Tiberias, a site known in Roman times as Hammat Tiberias, where excavations have uncovered an ancient synagogue with an elaborate zodiac mosaic floor.
