Who this is

This Hebron, sometimes spelled Ebron, was a border town of the tribe of Asher named in the list of Asher's territory (Josh. 19:28). It is a different place from the far better known Hebron of Judah, the burial site of Abraham and Sarah and later David's first royal capital; because of the similarity some manuscripts and versions read Abdon instead at this point, and the exact site of this Asherite town remains uncertain.
