Who this is

Two men named Hezir appear in the postexilic records: the head of the seventeenth division of priests organized by David for temple service (1 Chronicles 24:15), and a leader who sealed Nehemiah's covenant of reform after the exile (Nehemiah 10:20). Whether the two are related is not stated. A first-century BC tomb in Jerusalem's Kidron Valley, known as the Tomb of the Sons of Hezir, bears an inscription naming a priestly family by this name, showing it remained in use among Jerusalem's priesthood for centuries.
