Who this is

Jabneel is the name of two towns in the conquest narratives, not a person. One marked the northwestern border of Judah near the coast, later known as Jabneh or Jamnia (Joshua 15:11); the other lay on the boundary of Naphtali in the north (Joshua 19:33). The coastal Jabneh later became a notable Jewish town, and its walls were torn down by King Uzziah of Judah (2 Chronicles 26:6).
