Who this is

Jakim was the priest who headed the twelfth of the twenty-four priestly divisions David organized for temple service (1 Chronicles 24:12). A separate Jakim was a Benjamite family head living in Jerusalem (1 Chronicles 8:19-21). The King James margin at Matthew 1:11 also uses “Jakim” as an alternate rendering of Jehoiakim.
