Jarcha, an Egyptian

Who this is

Jarha was an Egyptian servant of Sheshan, a descendant of Judah who had no sons. Sheshan gave Jarha his daughter in marriage to preserve the family line, and their descendants are traced several generations forward in Chronicles, eventually including Zabad, one of David's mighty men (1 Chronicles 2:34-35; 11:41).
