Who this is

Jegar-sahadutha is not a person but the Aramaic name Laban gave to the heap of stones he and Jacob raised as a witness to their covenant in Gilead (Genesis 31:47). Jacob gave the same monument a Hebrew name, Galeed, meaning the same thing: "heap of witness."
