The same name traced across the biblical canon and the Second Temple texts, side by side.
Jezabel (Queen living at the time of Divided Monarchy)
This is a woman in the church at Thyatira, not the old queen. She called herself a prophetess and taught believers to commit sexual immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols, and John hangs the queen's name on her to say what kind of influence she was.

This Jezebel is not the Old Testament queen but a woman in the church at Thyatira whom Christ rebukes in Revelation for calling herself a prophetess and teaching believers to commit sexual immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols (Revelation 2:20). John applies the notorious name as a label for her corrupting influence, deliberately recalling the Old Testament queen who promoted Baal worship in Israel, rather than naming an actual descendant or namesake of hers.
