Who this is

Jokneam was a Canaanite royal city defeated by Joshua, situated near Mount Carmel by the Kishon River (Joshua 12:22). It fell within Zebulun's territory and was later assigned, with its pasturelands, to the Merarite Levites (Joshua 19:11; 21:34). It is generally identified with Tel Yokneam, a mound about twelve miles southwest of Nazareth that has been excavated and shows occupation across much of the biblical period.
