Kanah, the name of a stream and of a place in Palestine

Who this is

Kanah names two separate places sharing one word for reedy. One is a stream that formed part of the border between Ephraim and Manasseh, running from the hill country to the Mediterranean (Joshua 16:8; 17:9). The other is a town in the northern part of Asher's territory (Joshua 19:28), distinct from the stream and generally located further north toward Tyre.
