Who this is

Laodicean designates an inhabitant of Laodicea, a wealthy city in the Lycus valley of Asia Minor near Colossae. Paul instructs the Colossians to exchange letters with the Laodicean church, and Revelation later rebukes that same congregation for being lukewarm, an image that likely plays on the city's famous aqueduct system, which delivered water that arrived neither hot nor cold.
