Who this is

Makkedah was a royal Canaanite city in the Shephelah near a cave where five allied Amorite kings hid after their defeat by Joshua at Gibeon. Joshua had the kings sealed inside the cave until the battle was finished, then had them brought out, executed, and their bodies hung on trees before the city itself was captured and destroyed.
