Who this is

Mash was one of the four sons of Aram listed in the Table of Nations, and his name attached to a tribe or region east of Mesopotamia (Genesis 10:23). The parallel genealogy in 1 Chronicles 1:17 gives the name as Meshech instead, and some geographers connect his descendants with the Mount Masius range in what is now southeastern Turkey.
