The same name traced across the biblical canon and the Second Temple texts, side by side.

Migron

Saul camped under a pomegranate tree at Migron, near Gibeah, with about six hundred men, just before Jonathan's raid on the Philistines at Michmash. Isaiah has an invading army pass a Migron near Aiath, apparently a different spot of the same name.

First, in plain English

Who this is

Migron names two locations near the Benjamite hill country. One lay near Gibeah, where Saul was camped under a pomegranate tree with about six hundred men before Jonathan's raid on the Philistine garrison at Michmash (1 Sam. 14:2). The other, apparently a different site of the same name, appears in Isaiah's description of an invading army's march route toward Jerusalem, positioned near Aiath and Michmash (Isa. 10:28).
