Mysia was a region in the northwest of the Roman province of Asia. Paul and his companions passed through it without stopping to preach, prevented by the Spirit from turning into the neighboring regions, and continued on to its port city of Troas (Acts 16:7-8), where Paul received the vision of the Macedonian man that redirected the mission into Europe.
