Who this is
The waters of Nimrim were a stream or spring-fed area in Moabite territory, cited by both Isaiah and Jeremiah in their oracles of judgment against Moab as a once-fertile place reduced to desolation (Isa. 15:6; Jer. 48:34). It is usually located southeast of the Dead Sea, in the plain of Moab proper.
