Who this is

Orpah was a Moabite woman married to Chilion, one of Naomi's sons, and sister-in-law to Ruth. When Naomi decided to return to Bethlehem after her husband and sons died, Orpah wept and, after Naomi's urging, chose to stay in Moab with her own people, unlike Ruth who famously clung to Naomi (Ruth 1:4-14).
