Who this is

Pirathonite names two separate figures in the Bible from the town of Pirathon in Ephraim. The first is Abdon son of Hillel, a minor judge who led Israel for eight years and is remembered mainly for his many sons and grandsons who rode donkeys in Judges 12. The second is Benaiah, one of David's thirty elite warriors, distinct from the better known Benaiah son of Jehoiada who commanded David's bodyguard.
