Who this is

A Christian at Rome who joins Claudia, Linus, and Eubulus in sending greetings to Timothy at the close of Paul's second letter to him (2 Tim. 4:21). As with Claudia, some have tried, without real proof, to connect him to a Roman soldier named Pudens whom the poet Martial mentions marrying a British woman.
