Who this is

Rehob names both places and people in the Old Testament. Beth-rehob was a town in the far north near Dan that marked the limit of the spies' reconnaissance of Canaan and gave its name to a small Aramean kingdom that fought alongside Ammon against David. Two other towns called Rehob belonged to Asher, one assigned to the Levites; a third Asherite town of the name was never fully cleared of its Canaanite inhabitants. The name also belonged to the father of Hadadezer, the Aramean king of Zobah whom David defeated, and to a leader who sealed Nehemiah's covenant after the exile.
