Who this is

Rephidim was a wilderness campsite of the Israelites near Sinai where the people, desperate for water, nearly stoned Moses before he struck the rock at Horeb and water flowed out for them (Exodus 17:1-7). It was also the site of Israel's first battle, a victory over Amalek won as long as Moses held up his hands, supported by Aaron and Hur (Exodus 17:8-13).
