Who this is

Salome was the wife of Zebedee and mother of the apostles James and John. She followed Jesus and ministered to him in Galilee, stood among the women watching the crucifixion, and came to the tomb on the first day of the week with spices to anoint his body, becoming one of the first witnesses of the empty tomb (Mark 15:40; 16:1; compare Matthew 27:56).
