Who this is

Samothracia was not a person but a mountainous island in the northern Aegean Sea, off the coast of Thrace, whose height made it a landmark and overnight anchorage for ships crossing to Europe. Paul's ship stopped there on the voyage from Troas to Neapolis at the start of his first mission on the European mainland (Acts 16:11).
